*New Addition: Aromotherapy Massage *

Choose from any of the following services for your Pure Massage Experience:

*Swedish: The most common type of massage, this service will help you relax major muscle groups and ease away pain. Swedish Massage techniques involve long strokes, kneading out knots, and other muscle-specific techniques that can improve your joint mobility. Regular Swedish massage sessions can help improve strength and flexibility.

*Relaxation: Reach a balanced and healthy state of well-being by reducing muscle tension and stress throughout your body. Your therapist will use a smooth, flowing style of massage technique to achieve complete balance and relaxation.

*Trigger Point: Trigger points are the tender areas found in muscles; tension can accumulate over time causing aches and pains. This service will help your muscles and tendons release toxic buildup, and help you de-stress naturally and instantly.

*Sports Massage: A great option for athletes and regular gym-goers, this service can help you pre-event, post-event, during training, and for rehabilitation in recovery from injuries.

*Prenatal Massage: This service is ideal for expectant mothers to reduce stress, fatigue, and improve circulation. Pregnant women can enjoy relaxation and ongoing therapeutic benefits.

*Massage for Kids: A specialty service for kids 13 and under, this targeted massage can help with hyperactivity, insomnia, general stress issues, and encourage a healthy habit and lifestyle!

*Lymphatic Massage: The lymphatic system is essential as the body's drainage system for cleansing and filtering out bacteria and toxins.  Congested lymph pathways can cause soreness, aches, pains, and even flu-like symptoms.  Lymphatic massage helps to unclog the lymph system.  This massage technique helps the body heal itself from many common maladies.

*Neuromuscular Re-education: Manual contacts, patient pre-positioning, muscle contraction against resistance, irradiation, are all used in concert to assist in the process of improving movement.  This is a great option for athletes and those individuals looking to improve their overall physical functionality.

Premium Services: (Additional $10.00/Hour of Service)

*Deep Tissue: This service is ideal for releasing chronic tension and constricted areas in the body and muscles. Your therapist will use slow strokes and deep finger pressure to release energy in your muscles, tendons, and soft tissue; you’ll leave refreshed and rejuvenated!

*Hot or Cold Stone Therapy:

Hot Stone: A deeply relaxing and soothing massage that combines Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques with 5-10 smooth basalt stones. Your Pure Massage Therapist will use traditional strokes of massage while holding the heated stone and may place additional stones on specific points along your spine or lower back to improve the flow of energy throughout your body.

Cold Stone: It is common to use stones that have been chilled and in the same massage routine as hot stones.  Using cold stone for massage purposes (especially after a trauma or injury) will benefit in dispersal of tissue congestion, alleviation of swelling, decreased muscle spams, stimulation of the autonomic nervous system, increased tissue metabolism, and provide an invigoration effect.

*Thai Massage: This is a style that involves stretching and deep tissue work throughout the massage.  During the session you will lie on a specially designed mat on the floor.  The therapist leans on the body using their own hands and forearms to apply firm rhytmic pressure.

*Lava Shell Massage: Lava Shells are used as a tool during the massage session, similar to hot stones, to induce muscle relaxation and blood flow to the areas of interest.  They are self heated from within the actual shell and have a clean and smooth feeling when placed along the spine.   For more information call or select the Lava Shell Massage on our links page.

**Lava Shell Massage: Due to the specific nature of this product Lava Shell sessions are

charged differently.  Session times of 30 minutesand 1 hour are billed at an additional $10.00.

Session times including 1.5 hour(s) and 2 hour(s) are billed at an additional $20.00. Please call for more information.

*Cupping: Cupping is used to treat the back, neck, shoulder, and other musculoskeletal pain by increasing circulation and drawing out toxins from the body.  This is an ancient Chinese technique and used in traditional Chinese medicine.  This therapy is beneficial and its effect is a long lasting feeling of relaxation and invigoration.

*Contrast Therapy (Hot and Cold Stone Therapy): When using hot and cold stones during the session you will experience a soothing sensation as your muscles are tricked into relaxation.  The hot stones induce vasodilatation of the muscles and the cold stones induce vasoconstriction.  This creates the perfect combination for your muscles to relax.
